Image Editor
We built an internal image editor that allows users to modify attachments, recover previous versions, and highlight visual elements—all within our application. No third-party tools required.
01 The Challenge
Users needed to annotate, crop, and highlight sections of images attached to claims and reports — but this required leaving the application and using external tools, breaking workflow and causing version control issues.
02 Our Solution
We built a fully in-app image editor using the Canvas API: crop, rotate, annotate with arrows and text, highlight regions, draw freehand, and save versions with full revision history. The editor works entirely in the browser with no external dependencies.

User workflow completion rate improved by 55% — users no longer left the application for image tasks. Version conflicts dropped to zero. The feature reduced support tickets related to image handling by 70%.
